Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Account Manager to join our team in Auburn, AL. In this role, you will be the face of Kyser OfficeWorks, playing an integral part in maintaining and growing client relationships through exceptional service and consultative selling.

You will manage the entire client lifecycle—from initial consultation and preparing proposals to coordinating with vendors and ensuring the successful delivery of workspace solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee project timelines, coordinate with internal design and installation teams, and manage vendor relationships to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Sales & Proposals: Identify opportunities for account growth, conduct needs assessments, and prepare accurate, compelling client proposals.
  • Business Development: Actively seek out new business opportunities within the Central Alabama market to expand our client base.
  • Process Excellence: Maintain accurate records in our CRM system and ensure timely completion of all sales processes from order to installation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1–3+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) environment (experience in office furniture, design, or commercial real estate is a plus).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with CRM systems.
  • Drive: Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Travel: Ability to travel regularly to local client sites and events as needed.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs. (for product demonstrations, fabric samples, or presentations).
  • Regular travel to local client sites and networking events.
  • Comfortable working split time between a professional office environment and active client project sites.
